It is a brand name for LH RH agonist which is used as a nasal spray. It is prescribed in the treatment of endometriosis or for downregulation in IVF cycles
Natural Cycle IVF
IVF without the use of drugs. In stimulated IVF/ICSI cycles, the patient takes drugs to stimulate her ovaries to produce multiple eggs. With natural cycle IVF, the treatment cycle relies on the spontaneous development of one follicle only and therefore the retrieval of, usually, only one egg. There is nothing new about natural cycle IVF, in fact, Louise Brown, the world’s first ‘test-tube’ baby, was conceived using this method 25 years ago.
NSAIDs
Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs. They are used as pain killers and have an action similar to aspirin. Examples include Ponstan, Nurofen, ibuprofen etc. These drugs should be avoided during ovulation as they delay release of the egg. They are less likely to cause bleeding from the stomach than aspirin.
